We are pleased to announce that HealthTalk A.I. has successfully completed its SOC 2 Type 1 audit, marking an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to protecting patient data and ensuring system reliability.
As a trusted partner to healthcare organizations nationwide, confidentiality, integrity, and availability are central to everything we do. This SOC 2 report provides third-party attestation that HealthTalk A.I. 's controls are effectively designed to safeguard sensitive information, mitigate risk, and maintain dependable performance across our engagement platform.
Selecting a respected auditor was an important step in this process. We chose Thoropass, a leader in compliance assurance, known for their rigorous review standards and focus on the evolving landscape of digital security. The audit evaluated HealthTalk A.I.’s policies, procedures, and technical infrastructure in alignment with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria.
“Achieving SOC 2 Type 1 compliance demonstrates our deep commitment to security, reliability, and transparency,” said Jason Hansen, Chief Technology Officer at HealthTalk A.I. “Healthcare organizations trust us with some of their most sensitive data. This certification reinforces that we’re meeting the highest standards for protecting that trust.”
Why SOC 2 Matters in Healthcare
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a widely recognized compliance framework developed by the AICPA. It assesses how effectively a company manages and safeguards customer data, based on five Trust Services Criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
For healthcare technology providers, SOC 2 compliance is critical. It ensures that systems handling protected health information (PHI) are designed with robust controls to safeguard confidentiality, ensure data integrity, and deliver consistent service availability.
By achieving SOC 2 Type 1 compliance, HealthTalk A.I. continues to build on its mission to advance patient engagement through secure, intelligent, and reliable technology—helping Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Rural Health Clinics (RHCs), and other care organizations expand access while maintaining the highest standards of data protection.
