HealthTalk A.I. is proud to announce that we have successfully achieved SOC 2 Type 2 certification, representing an important advancement in our commitment to protecting patient data and delivering secure, reliable technology to healthcare organizations.
As healthcare organizations navigate increasing operational demands and heightened expectations around privacy and security, trust remains foundational to every interaction. This achievement, together with our HIPAA compliance certification, provides independent validation that HealthTalk A.I.’s controls are not only thoughtfully designed—but have been tested and proven effective over time to safeguard sensitive information and support dependable platform performance.
HealthTalk A.I. partnered with Thoropass to complete the audit process. Recognized for its rigorous compliance methodology and expertise in modern security practices, Thoropass evaluated HealthTalk A.I.’s operational controls, policies, procedures, and technical safeguards against the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria.
“Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 certification reflects our continued investment in building a platform healthcare organizations can trust,” said Jason Hansen, Chief Technology Officer at HealthTalk A.I. “This certification demonstrates that our security and operational controls are not only established, but consistently executed and monitored over time. As we continue expanding access through AI-powered engagement, maintaining the highest standards of security and reliability remains a top priority.”
Why SOC 2 Type 2 Matters in Healthcare
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a widely recognized compliance framework developed by the AICPA to evaluate how organizations manage and protect customer data.
Unlike a SOC 2 Type 1 report, which assesses whether controls are appropriately designed at a specific point in time, SOC 2 Type 2 validates that those controls operate effectively over an extended observation period. The evaluation focuses on key Trust Services Criteria including security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
For healthcare technology providers handling protected health information (PHI), this level of validation is increasingly important. SOC 2 Type 2 certification provides healthcare organizations with additional confidence that systems supporting patient communication, engagement, and operational workflows are governed by mature, consistently executed security practices.
This milestone reflects HealthTalk A.I.’s ongoing mission to help healthcare organizations expand access, improve engagement, and reduce operational burden through secure, intelligent automation. As HealthTalk A.I. continues to innovate across Voice AI, patient engagement, and access workflows, security and trust remain at the center of everything we build.
