Why SOC 2 Type 2 Matters in Healthcare
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a widely recognized compliance framework developed by the AICPA to evaluate how organizations manage and protect customer data.
Unlike a SOC 2 Type 1 report, which assesses whether controls are appropriately designed at a specific point in time, SOC 2 Type 2 validates that those controls operate effectively over an extended observation period.
